To follow up to my previous post on gaming headsets, today Tech.Woot.com is selling new Corsair Vengeance 1300 Analog 3.5mm Gaming Headsets. On Amazon and Newegg, these sell for about $80 but today on Woot.com you can buy these for $40+$5 shipping.
$40?? That's a good price!
If I hadn't bought my Razer headset already, I would highly consider this set due to the price. The reviews look good, and comparable to the Razer Carcharias. Although I haven't tried them, they do look more bulky than the Razer.
Take note though, that they do recommend you have a good sound card before investing in one of these. Also, these are not in the same league as the Logitech G930s. For something comparable to that from Corsair, you'd need to take a look at the Vengeance 2000, which provides the 7.1 surround sound.
